1. First contact – without any requirements
Are you thinking about changing assistance companies or perhaps in need of personal assistance and want to become a customer of Individens Trygghet? Contact either your local information officer or our switchboard and we will help you.
2. Discussion about your needs and wishes
The local information officer invites you to a meeting and agrees on how we can best meet your wishes and needs. We tailor your assistance and do everything to ensure that you get what you need.
3. Your decision
When you have decided to choose Individens Trygghet as your assistance company or to apply for personal assistance, we sign an agreement and support you through all parts. We help you with all the practicalities from the start.
4. Your start-up – your assistance
You can feel secure that we deliver a flexible start-up. We take care of everything from day one. We hire your assistants if needed, you get your own team for your administration and access to your own lawyer who knows everything about personal assistance and then some.

Individens Trygghet arranges personal assistance regardless of how old you are, where in Sweden you live, what language you speak, what diagnosis you have or what your need for help looks like. We offer assistance based on decisions from municipalities or the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Together with you and based on your needs, we work to ensure that you receive the secure assistance to which you are entitled.
If you already have a decision – we help you change companies
It is easy to choose Individens Trygghet as your assistance organizer. We write a customer agreement and a power of attorney, then we administer the change for you. We help you with everything, from terminating your current organizer to contacting authorities.
Together we agree on a start-up date. Then we immediately start planning your assistance to give you and your assistants the best conditions for a secure start-up.
If you don’t have a decision – we’ll help you apply
It’s easy to get help from Individens Trygghet’s lawyer when applying for personal assistance. We’ll write a power of attorney and help you through the entire application process. You’ll get help with everything from compiling your assistance needs, what certificates are needed to writing an application to the municipality or the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. For your safety, our lawyer will also attend meetings with case managers. All to ensure that you get the right decision about assistance.
The legal assistance is free of charge, provided that you choose Individens Trygghet as the assistance organizer in the event of a positive decision.
